Meatballs
✔ 500 grams of minced beef or pork meat( why not minced chicken or turkey)
✔2 small carrots
✔1 yellow onion
✔2 garlic cloves
✔3 spring onion
✔1 small potato
✔ 1 teaspoon of salt
✔1 teaspoon of pepper
✔1 slice of bread
✔2 eggs
Buns
✔250 gr of self raising flour
✔15 gr dry yeast
✔1 teaspoon of salt
✔150 ml warm water
✔sesame seeds or poppy seeds
Salad
✔1 handful of spinach (lettuce)
✔5 or 6 chopped radishes
✔green olives as many as you want
✔3 spring onion
✔salt
✔pepper
For dressing we use juice of 1 lemon or 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and olive oil
Preparation mode:
We start with the buns because we need to let the dough grow
We mix the flour with the dry yeast, salt and warm water in a large bowl.Mix until the mixture becomes doughy.Knead for 5 mins and then leave it for an hour to grow in the same bowl covered with cling film.While the dough grows we can get the meatballs ready.
We mix the minced meat with all the veggies ( I choose the grate the veggies, it is easier to get the mixture ready and form the meatballs).|Time to add the slice of bread and the eggs. The slice of bread and eggs helps the mixture stay together.Start creating balls into meatballs and set them on a tray.
Meatballs go in the preheated oven for 30-40 mins 🕐.
Our dough now is ready to go in the oven as well for 30-40 mins 🕐.
3.We chop all our veggies in a bowl add the seasoning the oil and the vinegar and we leave it in the fridge until everything is ready.
